Chloe's out of school for a week and a half for Holy Week. When is the last time an American student had "Holy Week" vacation? She's going to a little village with "now no hot water" until Easter, but I don't know exactly what that means. The house where they're staying has no water heater? The village shares a communal water heater and it's in need of repairs so now there is no hot water?
It sounds like they'll be changing families next week after everyone returns from their various Holy Week excursions. Although she lived with Alicia's parents a little more than a month longer than with this family, it seems like this stay has zoomed by in less than half the time.
